October 17, 2015 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now on fire over recurrent incidents of rape of toddlers in Delhi. India.Minor girls between the age of two and five are now target of sexual deviants who subject them to rape almost on a daily basis.

Two toddlers, between the age of two and five were reported to have been raped in Indian capital, Delhi Friday evening just a week after a four year old girl was raped.

The development is causing uproar as it seems the police is handicapped even when India two years ago made tougher laws after a brutal gang rape and murder of a student.

This trend has forced Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal into criticizing government and police for not doing enough to protect minors.

He also criticised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung for failing to provide adequate safety and security in the city.

According to him, the responsibility for the Delhi Police comes under the national government’s home ministry.
“Repeated rape of minors is shameful and worrying. Delhi police has completely failed to provide safety. What are PM n his LG doing?,” Kejriwal said on Twitter and called on the Prime Minister to act or transfer control of police to the state government.

This is coming after Delhi Police deputy superintendent Pushpendra Kumar said a two-year-old girl playing outside her home was raped in a west Delhi suburb on Friday evening.

According to him, family members found the child lying unconscious and bleeding in a park three hours after she went missing during a power outage in the neighbourhood. Meanwhile, three men have been arrested in connection with the gang-rape of the five-year-old on Friday evening in east Delhi.
Both girls were hospitalised and were in stable condition, police said.
