October 07, 2015 – Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has approved the appointment of Mr. Idowu Oguntona as the new Managing Director for LAGBUS Assets Management Limited.

LAGBUS in charge of mass transit buses in the state.
Addressing members of staff, when he officially assumed duties on Monday, 5th October, 2015 at the Head Office of the Organisation at Tisco Plaza 6, Ashabi Cole Street, CBD Alausa, Ikeja, the new Managing Director commended their efforts and contributions towards the growth and development of the company so far.
While imploring them to put in their best in their official responsibilities, Oguntona sought for harmonious working relationship in order to achieve the set goals and objectives of the present administration on transportation.

He expressed his appreciation to Lagos residents for their patronage over the years, assuring them of an all round improvement in service delivery by LAGBUS.
The new Managing Director is a seasoned accountant, who had worked in the Office of the Auditor General for Local Government as a Zonal Coordinator before moving to the private sector where he worked with Notore Chemical Industry – a manufacturing company, as an Accountant in charge of the Corporate Finance for several years and later Treasurer until his new appointment.
