Medview commences direct flight to London
August 25, 2015 – Managing Director, Med-View Airline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole has said that Medview Airlines will commence direct flight to London come November 8, 2015.
Bankole who was speaking to journalists in Lagos said Medview Airlines has grown and has been designated to fly into 17 countries and that it is one of the airlines that the Federal Government has shown interest.
On airlifting of pilgrims, he said that Medview will this year lift Nigerian pilgrims directly into Medina and provide some of the basic needs that will make the 2015 Hajj exercise a memorable one for pilgrims.
Bankole said that Medview which is the official carrier of Lagos State pilgrims for the 2015 Hajj would lift Nigerian pilgrims to Medina direct even though it is expensive to do so.
“We are the only airline that operates our flights for the five consecutive years 100 percent of air lifting of pilgrims to Medina. Though it is expensive because the airport has been contracted to a private Turkish company.”
He added that some basic needs of the pilgrims have been provided to complement what the state government pilgrims boards will provide.
According to him, some of the pilgrims need pouch that will contain all that they will carry in terms of passports, travel documents, travel guide documents and money.
“This is because if you go on pilgrimage and you have no where to keep your money, you might become a beggar if you lose the money you have.”
He urged intending pilgrims to be orderly and pious through out the exercise, saying that the exercise is about intention through which they will be rewarded.
“The moment you are committed to it, you must behave from that moment. It is not only when you get to Saudi Arabia. Your interaction, conduct and attitude, Allah records it because He has seen you even before you get to the Holy Land and your intention is taken into consideration.
