April 09, 2015 – Nigeria has continued on its downward fall in the latest ranking released by the Federation of International Football (FIFA). In the latest ranking released today, Nigeria dropped to 45 position in the world with 652 points.
But Algeria remains the most ranked team in Africa standing at 21 with 917 points. It is followed by Cote d’voire 23rd with 907 points. Next is Ghana 26th with 833 points, followed by Tunisia 30 with 793 points. Senegal is 36 with 752 points, followed by Cape Verde Island 37 with 737 points.
Next is Guinea at 41st position with 678 points.
But in overall, Germany remains number 1 with 1687 points, followed by Argentina number 2 with 1490 points. In number 3 is Belgium with 1457 followed by Columbia 4th with 1412 points.
Brazil is now number 5 with 1354 points, Netherlands 6th with 1301 point while Portugal is 7 with 1221 points. Uruguay is 8 with 1176 points, Switzerland 9 and Spain 10 followed by France in number 11.
