April 11, 2015 – Minister of State for Internal Affairs(II), Senator Musliu Obanikoro has won his ward in the Governorship and House of Assembly elections in Lagos State.
In Obanikoro’s ward candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Jimi Agbaje scored 50 votes to defeat Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) who polled 48 votes.
However, leader of the PDP in the South West, Chief Olabode George lost in his ward in Park View Estate, where the APC polled 139 votes against PDP that scored 87 votes.
