March 25, 2015 – Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Kenneth Tobiah Minimah has warned that the military will clampdown on anybody that attempts to carry out organised violence during the March 28th general election.
We Will Clamp Down on Trouble Makers, Minimah Warns
Minimah who was speaking in Abuja called on Nigerians to go out enmass and vote for the candidate of their choice without fear or favour.
He said that those who want to provoke organised violence will be met with organised violence and that the army has acquired new equipment.
He said people are now being trained locally and overseas to enable them handle the equipment so as to increase the pace in ongoing war against Boko Haram.
