[wysija_form id=”1″]March 17, 2015 – Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola today empowered 3,529 residents with live cows, fresh fishes, outboard engines for speed boat and a lot of other items.

The items were classified under 10 headings. Under aquaculture, 200 farmers will get fish feeds while 175 poultry farmers will get layers mash.
Under artisanal fishing, 200 farmers broken into 20 societies of 10 members got outboard engines for speed boats. Under the subhead of piggery, 311 farmers got pig feeds but under the subject egg marketing, 800 beneficiaries got fresh eggs.
Under fish marketing, 305 people benefited from table size fishes while 800 cows were distributed to butchers.
Also in the list is perishable produce. Under this category, 400 people got plastic packaging baskets while 36 people got maize grain under the category of feed mill.

All the items are redeemable from five centres after today up till April 9th, 2015.Other items are spraying machines and fertilizers among other items, all distributed through the ministry of agriculture
