February 19, 2015 – The Lagos State Government has announced the passing away of Mr. MacDonald Olarinde Tubi. He was 63 years. He was a representative of the Lagos State Government on the board of Messrs Julius Berger Plc.He died on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.

According to a statement signed by his first daughter, Mrs. Lola Cardoso (nee Tubi), on behalf of the Tubi family, burial arrangements will be announced later by the family.
Late Mr. MacDonald Olarinde Tubi is survived by his widow, Mrs. Idowu Tubi, his daughter, Mrs. Lola Cardoso, his sons, Gbolade and Folahan, his son-in-law, Sola Cardoso, and his grand children, Babatunde and Motunrenike Cardoso.
