January 27, 2015 – As part of its efforts to bring about good governance, excellence and accountability to bear on politicians, the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Lagos State Council, is organising a two-day live debate for gubernatorial candidates of 17 political parties fielding candidates for the February 28, 2015 governorship polls in the state.
The debate, tagged “LAGOS DECIDES 2015”,being put together in collaboration with Lagos Television will be transmitted live on Wednesday, January 28 and Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 7.00pm to 9.00pm daily on Lagos Television Radio Lagos/Eko F.M.
The event which will feature eight candidates on the first day and nine second day will be anchored by the president, Guild of Editors, Mr Femi Adeshina. While the panelists are; Mr. Fred Agbaje, Social Critics and Lawyer, Mr. Richard Asiegbu, head Sport and Media consultant Radio Nigeria, Anthonia Amosu, Assistant Director News, NTA and Funke Fadugba – General Manager News, Daar Communications.
