INEC to Present Voter Register to Parties

January 12, 2015 – Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will tomorrow Tuesday publish names of eligible voters ahead of the 2015 general election.

According to INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, the register will also be presented to each of the recognized political parties in Abuja.

The presentation of the register is in line with Section 2 of the Electoral Act, which stated that register of voters for any election must be published at least 30 days before election.
