Cameroonian Forces Kill Over 200 Members of Boko Haram

January 12, 2015 The Cameroonian Armed Forces on Monday said it killed over 200 members of the radical Islamic sect, Boko Haram.

According to military sources, hundreds of members of the sect invaded a military base in Kolofata, Cameroon and forcing troops into confrontation with the insurgents.

According to reports monitored on al-Jazeera, the confrontation lasted for over four hours leading to the death of over 200 members of the sect.

We gathered that military weapons believed to have been snatched when members of the sect raided a Nigerian army base were recovered from them.
One soldier is reported to have died during the encounter.
