January 1, 2015 – Flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Adamawa State, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has picked Chairman of Ganye Local Government Area, Rev. Habila Istifanus as his running mate ahead of the 2015 general election.
Ribadu is contesting for the governorship race in Adamawa. Ribadu who spoke in Yola while presenting the candidate, described him as a competent politician and a great mobilizer, chosen after wide consultations with stakeholders across the state.
Ribadu is a former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) and was a presidential flag-bearer of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria(ACN) before he defected to the PDP.
