December 27, 2014 – Former Editor, Compass Newspaper, Mr. Gabriel Akinadewo has lost his father, Archbishop Isaiah Moyinlorun Akinadewo better known as Omo Jesu. He died today just two days after Christmas.

In a statement announcing his death, the former editor said his father has gone to join his sweetheart, Superior General Apostolic Mother Mary Ajoke Omokehinde Akinadewo.
“OMO JESU IS GONE. (Death, be not proud, thou shalt die). With a heavy heart, I announce the death of my father, Archbishop Isaiah Moyinlorun Akinadewo, A.P, D.D. (Omo Jesu, Kiniun Eya Judah).
“He joined the saints above a few minutes ago. He has gone to meet my mother, Superior General Apostolic Mother Mary Ajoke Omokehinde Akinadewo (Madam) who died on February 4, 2010.

“On December 13, 2014, Daddy, you told me in the presence of Sister Queen, James, David and Jide: “When one is aging, sickness overwhelms. And Death is the end. Daddy, rest in peace”, he said.
