October 2, 2014 – Hon. Tony OneWeek, the gyration master who has crossed over to politics but has refused to let go of music has again registered his presence in the sector with a socio-political song titled “4ward Ever”.
Produced and directed by Lord Cornel and Promise Charles, the musician is using the music to admonish the youth and motivate them to believe in themselves and make the most of their talents and potentials, as the nation gears up for the coming general election.
The musician was elected in 2011 into Anambra House of Assembly under the Action Congress of Nigeria(ACN) He is a minority leader in the house. Among his latest release are Ife D’ Nma which features 2Face Idibia, Gyration Reloaded, and Jolly Dey Go which are official singles of his album Blessed, that has been scheduled for release in the first week of November.
Gyration Master which was released in 1998 was a commercial success, following the popularity of tracks like Everybody Gyrate, Onwa December, etc.
Governor Oni, who urged women in the State to emulate achievers like Remi Oyo said; “Remi Oyo has made us proud in Ekiti. She has demonstrated that she has the heart to make things better and it is my hope that our women, especially those from Ekiti will emulate her.”
