October 2, 2014 – Just few weeks after the Nigerian military claimed to have killed the man who disguised as leader of the radical Islamic sect, Abubakar Shekau, another video has surfaced with another man presenting himself to be Shekau and that he is alive.
New Abubakar Shekau Emerges, Says ‘I Will Only Die The Day Allah Takes My Breath’
The man according to the video watched by AFP, wore boots and combat fatigues but looks similar to the man claiming to be Shekau in previous videos.
“Here I am, alive. I will only die the day Allah takes my breath,” he said n Hausa language, reported the news agency, which normally receives Boko Haram tapes first, before they are distributed online.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, Director of Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade said the man who hitherto disguised as Shekau was killed in Konduga when the military launched attack on the area.
