October 26, 2014 – At least 10, 141 people have been afflicted by Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) while 4, 922 people have died of the ailment, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has said.

The disease which has afflicted eight countries in Africa, Europe and America has plagued 4, 665 in Liberia while 2, 705 people have died.
Sierra Leone has 3,896 cases while 1,281 patients have been confirmed dead. Till date Guinea has 1,553 cases with 926 patients already dead, making it the third most afflicted country in West Africa.
Nigeria had 20 cases with 8 people confirmed dead, United States of America has 4 cases with one person confirmed dead. Mali had one case which has been confirmed dead while Spain and Senegal each had a case but yet to record any death.
