August 20, 2014 – Appeal Committee of the Federation of International Football (FIFA) has ordered the Spanish club FC Barcelona and the Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF) to pay fine amounting to CHF 450,000 and CHF 500,000 respectively.

FC Barcelona has a period of 90 days to pay the CHF 450,000 from today and regularise issues relating to minor players, while RFEF has a period of one year to pay a fine of CHF 500,000 and regularize international transfer of minors in football.

FIFA took the decision even as it rejected appeals lodged by FC Barcelona and RFEF on issues relating to transfer of minor.
