June 30, 2014 – The Nigerian Football Federation(NFF) on Monday released a list of 99 matches that the Super Eagles Captain Joseph Yobo has played from March 24, 2001 to date.

He is also listed to feature in the Super Eagles’ encounter with France later today to make it into the record of players who have made 100 appearance for their various home teams.

Yobo was born September 6th, 1980. Yobo is likely to celebrate his new status quietly following report that FIFA refused to accede to request to honour the player on the field of play before the encounter between France and Nigeria by 5 PM Nigerian time.
