Students of Lagos State Serve Fashola Protest Notice over Bursary

National Union of Lagos State Students(NULASS) has served the Lagos State Government notice to commence civil disobedience in protest against refusal by the Lagos State Government to pay bursaries to indigenes of Lagos State in higher institutions.

In a statement signed by President and Secretary of the union, Mr. Mademeku Abayomi and Ayorinde Taofeek, respectively the student said the protest will take place May 5.

The students said that they took the decision to protest after an emergency meeting with students of Lagos State origin in over 20 institutions at the University of Lagos, Lagos State.

They said they should not be held responsible from any action arising from the protest.
