19 dead, 60 injured in Fresh Nyanya Bomb Blast

Terrorists on Thursday took advantage of security which appeared to have been relaxed after the May day rally in Abuja to detonate Improvised Explosive Devices(IEDs) in Nyanya, leaving at least 19 people dead and 60 others injured.

Reports monitored on Channels said the explosion occurred just few metres away from Nyanya bus park which was attacked few weeks ago that left a casualty of more 100 people.

We gathered that the injured have been taken to hospital while the area has been condoned off by heavy presence of security operatives who are combing the area for the suspects.

The incident occurred at about 8:30PM, with suspects said to have attacked the area with vehicle laden with the explosives.
