Hamzat who touched on a number of issues said the state government is currently working on over 200 inner roads, adding that contract on the Ago Palace Way has already been completed and attributed the delay in completion to litigation adding that work will commence now that judgment has been delivered in favour of the state government.
He noted that while the state government has embarked on construction of paedestrian bridges across the state to ease the job of crossing the expressway, government he said has to put a halt to the one it was building directly opposite the secretariat to take traffic into Ogudu, GRA based on advice from an agency to discontinue the exercise based on potentials by resident to turn into a market.
He said the state is however working on the one in Ojodu/ Berger to ease traffic in the axis adding that the state government has embarked on a number of infrastructural development in Lagos State University(LASU) to enhance human capacity development, learning and reading.
