President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on Wednesday terminated the appointment of his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Alhaji Ahmed Gulak with immediate effect.

According to a statement signed by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Ruben Abati, the President thanked Gulak for his services to the present administration and wished him success in his future endeavours.

The statement added that a replacement for Gulak will be announced in due course.
