President of the coalition, Comrade Bassey Etuk who spoke in Abuja said it is high time the APC in Osun State stopped the campaign of calumny against the Minister.

“The Hon. Minister is a national officer of the country and should be seen as such. There is bad politics in the land and this is unfortunate. We are particularly angry at the misconducts of the APC in Osun against the Minister knowing fully well that Police Affairs is a sensitive Ministry and the Minister overseeing the activities of such Ministry should be allowed full concentration to perform his duties”.

The coalition also noted that the state of security in the country calls for decorum from all stake holders and as such, the Chairman of Osun APC and his Publicity Secretary should talk less about Adesiyan and focus on their party affairs which are their immediate duties.

The group said it will not hesitate to stage public protest to press home their stance if Osun APC fails to desist from their distraction ploys against the Minister.
