The marriage union is so delicate that that those who embrace it must do all they can to sustain it, knowing that marriage is a lifelong venture hence the usual refrain, ‘for better for worse’.

But for Collins, this wise admonition seems to have failed to stick in the film ALL THAT GLITTERS. Collins, a jobless undergraduate got married to Iniebong very early in life, with his wife, a dedicated trader, shouldering all the responsibilities. But things changed when Collins secured a well paid job. He abandoned his wife, whom he now sees as uncultured, naive, unfashionable and local for a very classy lady in his work place.

But it soon dawned on him that he has made a mistake. Will Iniebong give him a second chance? This is left for you to find out in the film, ALL THAT GLITTERS.

Restricted to home viewing by the National Film and Video Censors Board, ALL THAT GLITTERS is an emotional story loaded with lessons for housewives to try as much as possible to measure up with the lifestyle of their husband.
Produced and directed by Emem Isong and Tom Robson respectively, it is one film that comes with excellent pictures and audio quality.

Ivy and Collins are quite exceptionally in the film, same with Iniebong. But one wonders if Iniebong didn’t go too far in attacking her husband and his concubine in the workplace with a bucket of unwholesome elements. It is nevertheless one of the best films to come out of Nigeria.
