The film ‘12 Years a Slave’ won the Best Drama Prize at the 71 Annual Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, United States of America.

The film, American Hustle however got more prizes than any other film during the show.Directed by David O. Russell, the film took home best musical/comedy film and two acting awards during the show.
