Oba of Lagos, His Royal Highness, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu 1 has accepted to be the Grand Patron of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Lagos State chapter.

He was made grand patrol of the union when members of the Don Pedro Aganbi-led AGN, Lagos State chapter paid him a courtesy visit in his palace.
The royal father who was very elated about the honour thanked members of the union for conducting themselves in a peaceful and orderly manner. He also promised to support the union in any way that he can.
“I am quiet delighted by this honour and I can assure you of my support in all your activities. My palace is open to you for ideas and innovations that will develop our dear. I also congratulate Nollywood at 20”, the Oba of Lagos said.
Earlier, Aganbi had congratulated the Oba for promoting the culture of Lagos State, maintaining peace and his philanthropic gestures.
“Your Highness, you are an acknowledged game changer; your reign has indeed brought peace, progress and development to Lagos State. We in AGN Lagos Chapter are aware of your many laudable initiatives and landmark achievements especially in the area of culture and giving scholarship to the less privilege in our society. Today I have led my team here to humbly confer on you the Grand Patron of AGN Lagos Chapter”
The AGN boss later presented the Oba certificate of honour and honorary Identity card of the union in addition to a copy of the monthly AGN newsletter.
Those in the delegation are Don Pedro Aganbi, Mr. Mathias Obayagbon, Mrs. Rachael Oniga, Tony Akposeri, Tommy Oyewole and National Public Relations Officer, Mr. Frank Dallas among others.
