Lagos Confirms ‘No Sanitation’ for Saturday

Lagos State Government says the monthly environmental sanitation exercise that usually holds between 7 to 10AM will not hold on Saturday, December 28, 2013.
That means there will be no restriction in movement.

The state government suspended the exercise as a result of the holiday to enable those still traveling out the state to leave without any hassle.

The state government however expects those that will spend the holidays in Lagos to continue to keep their immediate environment clean so as to live healthy during the period of the holiday.

Director of Public Relations in the Ministry of the Environment, Mr. Fola Adeyemi replied our text message to confirm suspension of the exercise with the following text messages, “ no sanitation exercise please”.
