It is common practice for the eldest among siblings to take up the responsibility of care when the parents are no more. For Jekwu, it was one responsibility that came too early in life but he was up to the task. Jekwu’s parents had passed on, leaving him with the task to care for his three sisters in the film, Family Man. He dropped out of school to be able to shoulder this heavy responsibility when he discovered that nobody, not even his uncle is interested in caring for them.

He worked hard to shoulder this heavy responsibility, shoving comfort aside to care for his sisters. He became very protective. But trouble started when he opted to give his sister, Adaku out in marriage. His uncle who had turned his back on them insisted that it is his lawful right to receive the bride prize.

Can he stop Jekwu who is determined to give out his sisters and pocket all the goodies? This is left for you to find out in the film, Family Man. It is Produced by Kingsley Okereke while Theodore Ayanji directed.

Rated 18 by the National Film and Video Censors Board, Family Man is an average film centred on a simple story. Audio is not bad but the pictures could be improved upon. Mike Ezuruonye played Jekwu, Dike Osinachi played Olisa, Tessy Orangwan played Adaku, Uche Elendu played Adanma while Oge Okoye played Oyinye.
