The Super Eagles on Saturday evening defeated Ethiopia 2-0 at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar to qualify for the World Cup on a 4-1 aggregate score line.

The Eagles opened the score line in the first half through a perfect penalty kick from Victor Moses in the 20th minutes when Ethiopian defender, Aynalem Hailu was penalised for knocking down the ball with his hands in the penalty box.

Obinna Nsofor increased the tally to 2 when he fired home a free kick in the 81st minute. Having won the first leg 2-1 in Ethiopia, the Eagles now qualify for the World Cup on 4-1 aggregate score line.
