Trust is generally seen to be an indispensable ingredient in the success of any relationship hence many who go in do all they can to ensure that they do not betray that confidence.

But this understanding failed to hold true of Richard in the film, Take My Life. Richard is a young medical student who is in love with Tonia, his fellow student. But he is lured with money into an amorous relationship by Josephine, who is old enough to be his mother. Richard attempts to break away from the relationship when it dawns on him that photographs of his encounter with his sugar mother were already with his fiancée.

His attempt to settle with Tonia was cut short when Josephine, his sugar mummy came with a proposal for him to marry her pretty daughter who was returning home from abroad and settle down to inherit her wealth. Will Richard fall for this enticing proposal? How will his father who already sees Tonia as daughter-in-law react in the circumstance? This is left for you to find out in the film, Take My Life.

Rated 18 by the National Film and Video Censors Board, Take My Life comes with a good storyline. But the pictures and audio quality are nothing to write home about. It looks more like a film produced about 10 years ago but edited to reflect 2013 production.
