Indomitable strikers in the Lagos State Governors Office Correspondents(LAGOCO) are already singing victory songs as they train hard in preparation to knock out a selected sports team from the Lagos State House of Assembly Correspondents Association(LAHACA).

The team which has been well kitted with jerseys and booths from one of the best kit making outfit in sports has also hired the best Technical Adviser and Team Coach, Femi Akinola, Sports Psychologist, George Okogie and a team of team medical doctors comprising, Mrs. Titi Adeaga and Omolara Omosanya.

Football is just one of the events lined up by LAGOCO to celebrate their press week, titled Culture of impunity in Nigeria’s democracy. Other activities lined up for the week beginning from Monday, November 11, 2013 are Health and Fitness walk from Ikeja Local Government Secretariat to Alausa, Ikeja.

The week will climax with a lecture, award night and music, featuring upcoming but talented musicians in Lagos State at the Combo Hall, LTV 8, Ikeja. The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola and his counterpart from Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola are expected at the occasion.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Abubakar Momoh, Director General Nigeria Electoral Institute, Abuja on Friday to be followed by the award night to round up the show for the same day. See programme below.

Monday: Health walk with impunity group 8AM prompt from Ikeja Local Government Secretariat to Alausa, and health/ fitness talk. Tuesday Indoor games with health and Wellness presentation by Nature Plus Group, Novelty Match with LAHACA FC at Agidingbi Grammar School. Wednesday Talk shop with LAMATA and Talk shop with Mutual Benefits Assurance. Friday is the LAGOPCO annual lecture and award night at LTV 8.
