Planes made a total sum of $4.27 million after featuring in 3,033 cinemas around the world to make it to that position. We’re the millers is number 4. Put together for distribution by Warner Brothers, We’re the Millers recorded a total turnover of $7.92 million after appearing in 3,445 theatres around the world to occupy that spot.
Instructions not included, which was number one last week was pushed to the number 3 position this week. That film returned $8.1 million to Pantelion/Lionsgate after having a show in 717 international cinemas to occupy that spot on the box office chart. The Butler retained the number 2 position for the second time in two weeks. Distributed by TWC, the film enriched the distributors with a total sum of $8.9 million after featuring in 3,330 theatres around the globe.
And the film that was the darling of the film viewing public at the box office for the week is Riddick. Distributed by Universal Pictures, Riddick made a total sum of $18.67 million after having an impressive outing in 3,107 cinemas worldwide to hit the number one position on the box office chart.
