The figures were slightly lower this weekend compared to what was recorded at the Box Office last week, even with Lee Daniels’ The Butler, taking the lead for the second time in two weeks.

A plane was number 5 at the weekend, after dropping the sum of 8.56 million Dollars into the hands of Disney, which distributed the film. It made appearance in 3,378 cinemas across the world to make it to that position. At number 4 is the film, The World’s End. Packaged for distribution by Focus Features, the film made 8.94 million Dollars after making appearance in 1,549 cinemas worldwide to make it to that position. At number 3 is the film, Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Distributed by Sony Pictures, the film grossed a total sum of 9.3 million Dollars after passing through 3,118 theatres worldwide to make it to that position.

We’re The Millers is number 2. Put together by Warner Brothers, We’re The Millers made 13.5 million Dollars after featuring in 3,445 cinemas around the world to get to that position. And then the best selling films at the box office at the weekend is The Butler. The film made 17.01 million Dollars after putting up another impressive showing in 3,110 international theatres to make it to the number one position.
