TINUBU ABSENT AT 40TH DAY FIDAU PRAYER FOR ABIBATU MOGAJI
Former Governor of Lagos State, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu was conspicuously absent today at the 40th day Fidau prayers held for his late mother, Iyaloja General of Lagos, Alhaja Abibatu Mojagi in Lagos.
His absence was however traced to pressing political matters but his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu was present at the occasion. Others at the event are Lagos State Governor Mr. Babatunde Fashola , the wives of South –West governors like Mrs. Sherifat Aregbesola, Mrs. Bisi Fayemi, Mrs. Olufunsho Amosun and Mrs. Florence Ajimobi.
The Asoju Oba of Lagos Chief Molade Okoya Thomas , Hon. Yakub Balogun , a House of Representative member ,The chairman of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN),in Lagos State Otunba Henry Ajomale , local Government Chairmen were among those present at the event.
Speaking at the event, the Nawar –Ul- Deen Society of Nigeria Abdul Mojeed flanked by so many Muslim clerics urged Muslim faithful to imbibe the leadership qualities of the late Abibatu Mogaji.
The cleric said Mogaji spent the whole of her life to the service of mankind and Almighty Allah and called on leaders to always think about the hereafter in their actions adding that it is only those who devote their lives to the service of mankind and Allah that will reap the reward of their sojourn on earth.
