These are indeed good times for members of the Lagos State chapters of the Actors Guild of Nigeria following a deal signed by leadership of the association with the management of MNET to produce a soap opera that will feature in the cable TV for 52 weeks.
Chairman of the chapter, Mr. Don Pedro Aganbi told Starconnectmedia that the soap as well as a film, Campus Party, will be used to celebrate Lagos state actors.
A casting session was held for the soap and an audition for Campus Party at the Emperor Haile Selessie’s hotel in Surulere, early this week.

Meanwhile, leadership of the union has also come out with the design of a work permit that would enable actors in the state to work anywhere in the world.
