AL-JUND – At least two female students have been confirmed dead and nine others seriously injured following two air strikes carried out by the American-British military on Aisha School in Al-Jund.
According to the Yemeni Armed Forces Military Media, the attacks occurred near Umm Al-Mu’mineen Aisha School in Al-Jund, Al-Ta’izziah District.
“Two female students were martyred, and nine others were injured as a result of two airstrikes by American-British aggression today, Tuesday, near Umm Al-Mu’mineen Aisha Girls School in Al-Jund, Taiz Governorate.
The students killed are Hamas Abdullah Abdul Salam (7th grade) and Saja Ahmed Dahan (5th grade). Nine others are injured.
Additionally, 13 cases of fainting occurred due to the panic and rush of students while exiting the school, eye witnesses said.
According to them, the injured students were taken to the Military Hospital and Al-Quds Hospital in Al-Jund.
The head of the National Delegation, Mohammed Abdul Salam, condemned the heinous American-British attack, asserting that “the targeting of civilians and educational institutions represents a dangerous escalation and reflects the level of American-British frustration due to their failure to provide protection for ‘israeli’ navigation in the Red Sea.”
Abdul Salam reaffirmed Yemen’s commitment to supporting Gaza, stating, “Yemen will not back down from this principled and moral stance.”
