LEKKI, Lagos – At least two people have been confirmed dead and six others injured when duplex collapsed at Northern Foreshore Estate, Chevron Drive, Lekki, Lagos.
According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, those dead are an adult and a 15 year old boy.
LASEMA added that six victims were rescued alive from the building and handed over to the medical team for medical examination and care.
“The collapsed building has been completely demolished and brought to ground zero with the use of the Agency’s sophisticated heavy duty equipment (Excavator).
“Search and Rescue Operation concluded”, LASEMA added.
