WASHINGTON, United States – President Donald Trump has poured his anger on the National Football League (NFL), describing the organizers as people who are scared of their players hence their alignment with those who decided to kneel down during the national anthem instead of standing up.
Trump had tweeted condemning the development, which he described as lack of respect for the American flag and anthem and called for the NFL to fire affected players.
But speaking earlier today on CNN, Trump insisted that the NFL must change their ways or they will go down.
He also said that already, some of the stadium are already recording empty seats, suggesting it is a fall out of failure to respect the flag and anthem.
