IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – A pedestrian who was heavily engrossed in his music via earpiece met his waterloo when a fast moving train ran over him.
An official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA who reported the incident said the pedestrian did not hear the approaching train since he was busy listening to his music and was conspicuously oblivious of his immediate environment as he was crossing the railway line.
The official said the incident occurred by the railway crossing near Ajayi Farms, Ikeja.
The LASTMA official reported that relevant healthcare providers are on the way to take away the corps to the morgue.
