AGEGE, Lagos, Nigeria – A 42 years old man, Olanrewaju Bale, whose marriage is at the breaking point has told a Lagos court how his wife has embarked on indiscriminate sex, jumping from one man to the other.Olanrewaju, who resides at Jimoh Sobowale street, Magodo was responding to a suit brought by his wife before an Agege Magistrate Court. seeking permission of the court to end her marriage.
He told the court that he met his wife with whom he had two children at a bar in Isheri, Lagos in year 2008. He however agreed to divorce but described his wife as an ungrateful woman. He said his wife has been jumping from bed to bed having sex with different men before she finally absconded from the house with their second child.
“l started up a line of business for her which she changed without my knowledge. My wife went into beer parlour business and started having illicit affairs with her customers.

The respondent further alleged that his wife stopped doing her wifely duties, that he has been the one taking proper care of the children. “For over a year now, l have been bathing the children and washing their clothes,”. The respondent appealed to the court to order that the wife to allow him have access to his daughter.
The petitioner, Adenike Bale who accused her husband of constant beating and threat to life told the court that the respondent is troublesome and he does not care for her and the children.
The 36-years old businesswoman said that her husband beats her constantly especially when she come home late from shop.
“He has turned me to a punching bag causing me grievous bodily harm. Whenever we have any misunderstanding, he always threatens to kill me.
She alleged that on November 19, she told the husband she was going to church for vigil which he vehemently disagreed.
“Afterwards, my husband came to me for sexual intercourse which l refused because l noticed he used a fetish substance to rob himself. That night, he threw me out of the house nakedly, my children begged him to no avail,” she said
“He has no interest in my welfare and has not been responsible for the children’s upkeep, ‘’she said. Adenike said that the action of her husband made her to move out of the house. “I am no longer interested in the union’’.
The court adjourned the matter till March 27 for continuation of trial.
