STUDENTS TOLD TO VACATE CAMPUS

MAIDUGURI, Nigeria – Scores of people are have been killed in a bomb blast at a mosque in University of Maiduguri early this morning.
According to an eye witness, those killed were mainly students and teachers who had gone to the mosque for early morning worship.
The bomber suspected to be a member of the terrorist group, Boko Haram, disguised as one of the worshippers and detonated the explosives leading several deaths.
Though there is yet to be an official comformation, photographs of the scene showed mangled flesh of the victims with blood stains on the floor.
The roof was completely blown off, but the fire that engulfed the mosque as a result of the blast seems to have subsided. Meanwhile, the authorities of the university have shut down the school with instruction for students to vacate the campus.
