IKOYI,Lagos, Nigeria – Chief Executive Officer of Ebony Life TV, Ms Mosunmola Abudu, better known as Mo Abudu has denied any link with EFCC’S shocking find of $43.4 million, £70, 800 and N23.2 million at a flat situated at 16 Osborne road.
Some media outfits have circulated reports linking Mo Abudu with the money, the way they also linked the money with former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Adamu Muazu and others.
But speaking through her lawyer, Etigwa Uwa, she said, she did not receive any flat from Minister of Transportation, Hon Rotimi Amaechi as speculated. She did not not deny living at 16 Osborne but said she does not live in flat 7A or 7B and that the peoperty she lives in was pirchased in the open market ar a fair value.
“Mo Abudu unequivocally states that these allegations are completely false, malicious any without merit.
“Contrary to these false statements, Mo. Abudu does not live in Flat 7A or 7B, has never lived in Flat 7A or 7B and the apartment she lives in was never a gift from any person.
“Mo Abudu did not receive any apartment as a gift from Hon. Rotimi Amaechi or any other person. Rather the apartment was purchased in the open market for a fair value”, she said.

These false statements relates to recent news story emanating from the EFCC that it has discovered some money in a property at 16 Osborne Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. It has ben suggested by these individuals that Mo Abudu lives in Flat 7A of 16 Osborne, Road, Ikoyi that Mo Abudu received the property as a gift from Hon. Rotimi Amaech, his alleged boyfriend.
