June 2, 2015 – Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and its counterpart, Kick Against Indiscipline(KAI) have been re-branded by the Lagos State Government.
Very soon, these agencies will no longer appear in the public with trucks in an effort to enforce the law. They will now appear with new cabs, mostly of the KIA brand, painted creme and dark brown and light green to reflect official colours of the outfits.
The cabs branded LASTMA have gadgets fitted on the dashboard to enable officials carryout certain test on motorists on the go in addition to communication gadgets.
The colourful vehicles are now packed in the Lagos State Government House ready to handed over to the agencies as part of effort to boost their operational capacity in Lagos.
We gathered that the new cabs are part of effort to transform Lagos into a modern city.
