July 19, 2014 – Ukrainian Transport Minister, Mr. Lio Tiong Lai said on Saturday that the site where the Malaysian airline came down near Ukraine has been compromised.

He said some unidentified people have moved into the site and that bodies are being moved.

He said that the interference suggest that the real cause of the crash may not be known. He said the integrity of the crash site must be respected and interference will not be tolerated.

Lai made the statement at a media briefing in Ukraine just as President of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama has appealed for immediate ceasefire to enable investigators to access the crash site and commence investigation.

At least 23 citizens of the United States of America were among the 300 passengers that died Thursday when rebels shot down a Malaysian plane near Ukraine, using surface to air missiles.

The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 plane which was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in the settlement of Grabovo in the Donetsk region.
