Lagos, Sept, 09, 2016 – One of Nigeria’s most celebrated Standup comedian, Bright Okpocha, alias Basketmouth who was robbed at gun point in the early hours of Wednesday at his residence in Lekki, has confirmed the development, noting that the robbers however failed to steal his sense of humour.
He said on Instagram that his wife and kids were not harmed and is having reasons to thank God for sparing their lives.
It was his colleague, Bovi who broke the news about the robbery incident on his instagram page but since then, the comedian has failed to say anything on the issue until now.
“Yes I was robbed, yes they made away with a lot of valuables…….the great thing is that they didn’t steal my sense of humour.
“ Myself, my wife and kids were not harmed, so we thank God. Big thanks to everyone that reached out, may God bless you abundantly”, he said on his page.
