PASAN HAILS DELTA SPEAKER

Asaba, Nigeria – Political aides of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Wednesday commended the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Monday Igbuya and other members of the assembly for their efforts in taking the state to greater heights.

‘Mister Speaker is doing well. The Urhobo people are behind him. We are ready to undertake any task that will project the speaker and the Urhobo nation ‘leader of the political aides to Governor Okowa from Delta Central, Hon Chris Onogba said.




“We want to congratulate the Urhobo people and the PDP family. The people are satisfied with the performance of Mister Speaker”
He dismissed the change agenda of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“APC came to government with two legs standing. I can tell you that APC is standing with only one leg today. We can’t see the so-called change. Nothing is working in the country. PDP will definitely resolve its crisis in Ondo State. APC is a failure”.

Political aides to the governor who paid courtesy call to the Speaker include;Hon Grace Oddirri, Hon Efe Uko, Barrister Edewor Omonemu, Mr. Muemuifo Godspower, Ighomena Jabin, Chief Wellington Oyibo and Hon Roy Oke.

PASAN HAILS DELTA SPEAKER

Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter on Wednesday described the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Monday Igbuya as a man of excellence and integrity. The organization also scored the leadership of the assembly high.

Chairman of Pasan, Delta State, Comrade Emmanuel Edozie noted that the expectation of workers from the government were justifiably high but explained that the Delta State House of Assembly had a speaker who is committed to doing things right.

“The Rt. Hon Speaker and other members of the Delta State House of Assembly are honourable people” he said.


Edozie who spoke during a special meeting of the workers in Asaba praised the speaker and others for facilitating the payment of 2016 outfit allowance and outstanding benefits to deceased staff. There is peace in the House of Assembly” the chairman said.

He attributed paucity of funds to the inability of the state government to meet the demands of parliamentary staff. He urged workers to allow the leadership of the assembly to move the state forward through the passage of bills and oversight functions.
