NEW YORK, United States – American actor Charlie Murphy is dead. He was 57. Born July 12, 1959, the actor died on Wednesday, April 12 after an unsuccessful battle with Leukemia.
Charlie, a well known comedian. He is the elder brother to the American film actor, Eddie Murphy.
In a statement, his Publicist, Domenick Nati comfirmed that the actor died after a prolong battle with Leukemia.
He became famous with his Charlie Murphy True Hollywood Stories Sketches. He also worked behind the scene with the likes of K-9 Posse, a hiphop due made up of his half brother Venon Lynch Jnr and Wardell Mahone.
He was married to Tisha Taylor Murphy . They are blessed with three children.
