Mina, Sept., 10, 2016 – About 61,903 pilgrims from Nigeria have moved from Mecca to Mina town in readiness to perform the fundamental Islamic Hajj rites at the mountain of Arafat on Sunday.

The pilgrims who joined their colleagues from other parts of the world to perform this year Hajj were so anxious and excited over the memorable journey.

Some of the pilgrims who spoke with our correspondent commended both the Nigeria and Saudi-Arabia government s for making solid arrangements that made the journey a success in spite of harsh weather in Saudi Arabia.

One of the pilgrims, Hakeem Lawal Atanda, the Onigabasha of Ibafo land in Ogun state gave the Nigeria government 90% over the welfare of pilgrims, accommodation and transportation in Saudi.

He urged the government to still make more efforts to meet expected target.

Two pilgrims who came for the Hajj under the sponsorship of Oba of lagos, Rilwan Akiolu expressed appreciation to Almighty Allah and Oba of Lagos for making it possible for them to be in Hajj.

The Royal majestic representatives identified as Mukadam Siddiq Olomu and Imam Kamorudeen Oseni, Chief imam Iberu-Oluwa mosque, IGA Idunganran palace prayed for the betterment of Nigeria economy.
They implored the general Muhammadu Buhari federal government to put more efforts and make Naira appreciate.

“We have prayed for the country and we will still continue to pray till God answers us and make our country great again”, they remarked.
