Blacksnipe assembles team to push music internationally

August 29, 2015 – Blacksnipe Records has indicated its intention to assemble international marketing team to promote musical works that it will be churning out from time to time.

Chief Executive Officer, Blacksnipe Records, Mr. Frank Ogwu made the revelation during a meeting with members of his team, including Label Manager, Mr. Cyril Ogwu,  Project Manager, Mr. Possibility Chukkuemeka and Human Resources Manager, Mr. Justice Omorodion.

He said that the music label will provide a platform for artistes to express themselves and achieve their desires in life.

“I’m excited to be a part of creating and supporting the future career of African artists, promoting love and finding new talents to help the world”, he said.

He said his organisation will try as much as possible to be respectful of the arts and give artistes the platform they need to grow and blossom into mega stars.

“We hope to begin releasing material as soon as possible, beginning with a compilation album featuring great African artistes”.

He explained that based on discussions, the business affairs of Blacksnipe Records shall as well include advice on contract negotiation, assist young talented artistes in finding legal representation, assist select labels and artists in the synchronization of music in movies, TV, commercials and games through its direct relationships with music supervisors.

He said the team will also be licensing music for compilations via key record company and special markets outlets, representing artistes in collection of royalties as well as assist both labels and artistes to put together a marketing plan for their project, including targets and budgets and manage the process throughout the release cycle.

“Blacksnipe Records plans also to put together a customized international marketing team to execute this plan to assist in strategizing and finding appropriate marketing firms to handle each release”, he said.
