Apartheid in SA echoes in Praiz’s ‘Lost in You’ video

August 3, 2015 – Praiz’s, one of Nigeria’s rave of the moment has released video of his new single “Lost in you”.

The video, featuring Sammy shows him literally “lost and locked up” for love. Following its release in July 2015, the song has slowly gained grounds amongst fans of the artiste as well as different media channels.

The video was shot on location in South Africa with set at one of the prisons that housed the late post-apartheid President Nelson Mandela.

The video which has the theme, incarceration has various shots that show Praiz behind bars, fighting for survival, learning to lean on almost non-existent support, and struggling to find a place in a cold unfriendly environment.

The scene is littered with pictures that helps to put more meaning into the  message conveyed in the song “Lost in you”.

Praiz appears flawless in his delivery, hearty and true to his R&B sound in this piece that is sing-along smooth and easy to love.

The video was shot by South African videographer and features the likes of Jonathan Josh Clark while the song was originally written by Sammy, and Produced by Praiz.
